WANT TO NOMINATE

THE NEXT PRESIDENT?

Several months ago, our polling of Democratic candidates started with a slight lead for Barack Obama, closely followed by Edwards, then Clinton. When polling stopped on January 23, Edwards had worked his way to the top with about 21% of all votes (Democratic and Republican), followed by Obama (19.56%), with Clinton finishing 3rd with 18.06%.

The Republican side was less enthusiastic. Our first poll started with Romney leading, closely followed by Giuliani, then McCain. When polling stopped on January 23, Huckabee had risen to the top with 11.32% of all votes (Democratic and Republican), followed by Giuliani (7.28%), with Romney finishing 3rd with 7.25%. The apparent nominee, McCain came in 4th, mustering just 6.42% of the total, followed closely by Ron Paul with 5.27%.

See complete breakdown below.
